What Can I Expect During My First Visit to Dr. Durrett's office?

A first visit to Durrett Chiropractic & Natural Health Care Clinic can be a life-changing event and a turning point in many patient's lives.

The visit begins with a warm welcome and the opportunity to complete a full medical history questionnaire and "new patient" paperwork. You will then have a very detailed and complete consultation with the Case Manager. This consultation is your opportunity to express your health concerns and expectations, and to ask any questions you may have pertaining to the matter. It is also for us to express our role in your health care and discuss your health prognosis. We also use this time in your consultation to help you understand what we will be looking for in the examination and what sets our examination apart.

A physical exam will be performed which will be the most complete and unique examination and health assessment that you will recieve in any facility. The examination will include include traditional orthopedic testing, neurological tests and reflex assessments, as well as very unique testing which will include muscle testing, a specific Chiropractic evaluation, and in some cases an Acu-Graph analysis to assess the energy flow through the acupuncture meridians of thebody. In some cases x-rays may be necessary to determine an exact diagnosis. X-rays can usually be done in our office.

The Doctor and Case Manager will go over the initial results of the exam with you and schedule you for a follow-up visit as soon as possilbe so that a complete review and care can be initated.
